Damon Taylor | Senior Advisor

Damon has 20 years of experience creating an impact at the nexus of education, law, rights, technology, art, and science. Since he became PSYDEH’s Senior Advisor in mid-2014, Damon co-leads the NGO’s efforts to be a paradigm-changing nonprofit in the Global South, showing others how to thrive in a difficult funding climate by resources streams, e.g., Mexican and foreign donors, crowdfunding, corporate alliances, and in-kind donations of professional services. Concurrently, he helps PSYDEH to become a leading voice in the sector of community-led development, including innovating PSYDEH’s rights-based, scalable model for rural and Indigenous communities to sustainably confront their social, economic, and political inequality.

Before living in Mexico, Damon worked in Washington, D.C., USA, in academia, start-up metaverse technology, and as a lawyer-analyst for an international law and dispute resolution group in global law firms.

Damon has a J.D. (magna cum laude) from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Ohio, USA, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Mount Union, Ohio, USA.

He occasionally publishes blogs and articles and is a galleried photographer.
