Monica Burba | Strategic Communications

Monica is based in Mexico City as a designer and non-profit consultant, committed to protecting human rights through educational leadership and sustainable solutions.

Her past experiences as a Global Citizenship Education Consultant with the World Federation of United Nations Associations, a special education teacher with Teach For America, and her research in gender studies in Southeast Asia and the Middle East have stirred in Monica a strong interest in promoting social development and global citizenship education. 

She earned a Master of Science degree in Special Education from Brooklyn College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies and Sustainability from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. 

Monica is the current graphic designer of PSYDEH’s annual reports and other strategic communication materials.
