PSYDEH Awarded 2015 Funding from the Mexican Instituto Nacional de Las Mujeres (INMUJERES)

PSYDEH’s multi-year Program has been awarded funding from INMUJERES to produce 2015 Project work that builds on 2014 Project progress.

With anticipated success in 2015, we have reason to hope that funding proposals to INMUJERES in 2016 and 2017 will yield modest increases in support of our collaboration with indigenous women leaders in the Region.

Maria de los Angeles Garcia Luna, Board President, PSYDEH, and Marisela Romero Cruz, Women Field Coordinator, PSYDEH, sign the formal agreement with INMUJERES for funding of 2015 activities with indigenous women leaders of the Sierra Otomí-Tepehua Region (June 1, 2015).

PSYDEH is a non-profit civil association, which was formed by the initiative of a group of young women from the municipality of Santiago Tulantepec in the State of Hidalgo. PSYDEH is committed to working with and for the most vulnerable communities in the region through the promotion of a Sustainable Human Development.
