PSYDEH’s Mexico-City Global Crowdfunding Team Visits the Region
To link PSYDEH’s Mexico City-based staff and local partners and to capture content for social media used in our September 19-30 crowdfunding project Global Giving, we visited the communities of El Nanthe and Ejido Santa Monica in early August.
There, Nury Arnaiz, PSYDEH’s Mexican social media expert, Andre Stoffel, PSYDEH’s German global campaign strategist, Damon Taylor, PSYDEH’s American Senior Program Advisor and Jorge Echeverría, PSYDEH’s General Coordinador met with women leaders of Tenango de Doria’s local-based organization.
Nury and Damon stayed overnight with the women where we learned about women leaders’ views on illegal immigration to the USA, child motherhood, the poor local economy and infrastructure, e.g., no paved road to their community, and the value of such things as communication, love and autonomy. Follow our campaign on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to see the fruits of this labor.
