Tech for All is a digital inclusion program. It provides tools for PSYDEH’s team, local women and rural communities so they can sustainably address socio-economic inequalities. The program includes free digital literacy workshops and expanded access to information and communications technology (ICT).

Build local digital resource centers & install satellite internet powered by solar energy across the region where PSYDEH works.

2022 – 2023

Use & Training

Expand access to technology and digital literacy programming for PSYDEH’s field team, women-led cooperative incubation program, and the Otomí-Tepehua region at-large.

2023 – 2024

Innovation

Assist community members in personal and community development through innovative tech solutions to increase social, economic & gender equality in the region.

Tech for All is based on 6 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Women use cloud-based graphic design and community messaging software on cell phones and laptops to create their own jobs and drive economic development in their communities.

Technology solutions such as solar panels and satellite internet give women and their communities access to the digital tools they need to reduce inequality.
Goal 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions
Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
The culturally appropriate and rights-based use of digital tools is key to empowering from the ground-up, solving problems in a sustainable way and promoting more just and inclusive societies.

Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
Tech For All unites women, government, companies and organizations wanting to innovate the partnerships needed to empower rural and Indigenous communities.
