COVID-19

COVID-19 IN RURAL & MARGINALIZED AREAS

Information is power, always.

This is especially true for vulnerable rural and indigenous communities needing to smartly navigate COVID-19 and its economic and social consequences.

Thus, PSYDEH stands up a new fieldwork area, including producing this information series for two audiences:

(1) indigenous women partners and their network of organizations in Hidalgo, Mexico

(2) rural communities, in developed and developing communities across the globe.

We’re not experts in infectious diseases, but we do understand rural and marginalized-community development. And we know that citizen rights come with responsibilities, that there is a need for multi-lingual information and that nonprofits in Mexico and worldwide have a key role in this fight.
