Women leaders want to share their learning

As mentioned in our February 28 news update, we face an uphill battle in motivating more and different women to join our work–in the educational workshops, their organizations and at organizing events.

Recently, regional women leaders demanded a field manual they can use when speaking with fellow community members, something that is pleasant to look at, a source of knowledge AND makes clear the benefits of participation, with the women and in Mexico’s democracy. Thus, and in lieu of the norm – paying people to participate with money or small gifts – we worked with these leaders to create the BELOW 2017 Field Manual.

Image and color heavy, this tool incorporates long-used concepts like the fruit tree to show the women’s umbrella network of organizations, concrete benefits of collaboration, highlights from the Women’s Development Agenda, important indigenous rights and more.
