Zarka is a graduate of Politics and International Relations BSc (University of Bristol) from London. She has experience in working for a British Member of Parliament, volunteering with NGO Restless Development in rural Nepal, and was an active member of the University of Bristol Pakistan Society, also working closely with the Student Union’s Women’s Network.

Being of Pakistani heritage, Zarka is passionate about intersectional feminism and empowering the most marginalised women around the world. She thoroughly enjoys travelling and learning about new cultures, and returns to Mexico after an enriching first experience last year. 

A creative individual, Zarka has a passion for fine arts and textiles, and particularly, traditional cultural handicraft. The blend of creativity and grassroots feminism at the heart of Psydeh is what excites her about joining the team.
