PSYDEH In the Press

Mexico News Daily logoMexico News Daily has published an article about PSYDEH’S work titled “Hidalgo NGO provides tools for indigenous women to improve their lives”.

In this long-form essay, Mexico City-based journalist Lydia Carey explains in simple terms PSYDEH’s necessarily-complicated approach to providing women-partners with the tools they need to make needed changes in their communities. She also discusses PSYDEH’s ongoing success with the world’s leading nonprofit crowdfunding platform, GlobalGiving. As Carey writes,

“[…Psydeh has made progress in independently funding their organization. The money that comes from crowdfunding is more flexible and provides clear financial transparency to donors. This more intimate, personal way of giving has strengthened their networks and given them the opportunity to speak directly to the public about their work.]”

Mexico News Daily is an online newspaper posting “news about Mexico for English speakers, expatriates either retired or employed, and investors and businesses with a presence in Mexico or those interested in establishing one.”
