Otomí women’s first conference as leaders of their new organization Flor del Bosque
At the end of November, PSYDEH Otomí partners, Zenaida and Agustina, attended their first public conference in the neighboring state of San Luis Potosi as representatives of their Tenango de Doria-based NGO Flor del Bosque.
The First International Congress of Nopal, Tuna and Maguey producers was organized to industrialize and commercialize nopal, tuna and maguey products for national markets and international export. Flor del Bosque, in search of ideas for small-project production to address the lack of economic opportunity in the region, attended to better understand these products and those who produce them.
